I'm at home today for President's Day and was able to witness my new roommate, Katherine, learning an important life lesson: Dish soap is not the same as dishwasher detergent. Please note the evidence below...
I felt like I was in a bad I Love Lucy episode trying to clean up the suds. I will say that it did a little bit of mischievous fun to the morning. Just wanted to share.

when i moved into my first apartment with a dishwasher back in pittsburgh, i made the same mistake.
it was both comical and embarrassing. i'll never forget it.
Oh CHRIST.
Tim put liquid dishwasher detergent in the rinse aid once. I mocked him for a week.
At least it didn't explode and burn down the apartment.
