America's Next Top Model Cycle 11 Episode 9 Recap
America's Next Top Model was back with a new episode tonight after the recap episode last week. Tonight the remaining seven girls had a teach with the Aswirl Twins, then modeled clothes against a green screen. Following the challenge the girls hit the set for a Covergirl commercial. At panel it was revealed that the girls would be going overseas to Amsterdam, but only six would get to go. Check the vlog for the full recap.

good recap..but, what's with the head band?
I agree with all your comments. I have to say, I was rooting for Elina earlier in the season, but now she's getting very tiring. When the show first started, it sounded like shew as going to be very edgy and fun and would cut loose without much inhibition - but she turns out to be EXTREMELY inhibited (before one shoot earlier on she said she's extremely afraid of looking stupid, and we're more than aware of how afraid she is to show her emotions). I'm also getting tired of Marg - Mr. Jay tells her to do another take of the commercial, and she breaks down crying. Get over yourself, Margi.
I have to agree with Carolyn about McKey. To be honest, she's one of my least favorite models this season. I don't even think she's that pretty - and her mouth is huge - reminds me of a clown mouth.
Right now Annaleigh is my favorite - I agree with you Pat! She's nice, sweet, upbeat, and natural. Maybe she's not "couture" - but let's face it, the main price is a gig with Cover Girl - and Annaleigh is perfect "Cover Girl" material! I think she takes decent photos too...
Someone please give me a link or sumthing to see the episode 9 online..pleaseeeeeeee..!!!!!!!!!
Great recap - but yes, Carolyn, what's up with the head band? Is there a back story to that?
Also, did you two watch Stylista after ANTM? If so, what do you think of it?

This was s freakin' funny!! Love you guys.
There's one bit of information they haven't actually shown in Ep. 9: After the confrontation between Sheena and Alina, Sheena dropped "communist brat" bomb at Alina before she walked away.
Elina is one of those girls that you see & instantly you want to like because she has a unique look and think, yeah, this chick might be cool 'cause she's not all cherry... then you realize oh, she's really boring and kind of a drag. Poor Sheena, she means well, I'm sure she's a lot of fun but leave the debating for the grown-ups. Just keep shaking your bootay. She did an awesome, awesome job on the commercial. Same as Analeigh. Oh my god, she was great. I'm glad she said something about the voice stereotyping of the voices. She's right, just wasn't firm enough about it. Too bad about Joslyn, she was so sweet, never felt like she was Supermodel material but she was sweet.

omg i agree with all your comments and i sooo love elina! well actually i'm kinda like routing for elina and analeigh cos analeigh is like soo sweet =)*and i hope she doesn't get eliminated*. sheena, on the other hand is like well..the first asian to be like all outspoken so i think that's a good thing. i personally think that most of the girls in this cycle have the looks though.
