America's Next Top Model Cycle 12 Episode 10 Recap

The girls of Cycle 12 of America's Next Top Model packed their bags and headed to Sao Paulo, Brazil for the remainder of the competition. After meeting the actual Girl from Ipanema the models settled into their new home, then learned the Brazilian martial art of capoeira for a photo shoot challenge. The big photo shoot had the models styled as Carmen Miranda with giant fruit hats and ruffles. Check the vlog for full details...

I must say, I think it wasn't the best elimination.. I mean, Nathalia (allthough a total bitch) actually was was better than Aminat.. I still think Allison should win, but, I really doubt it and I think celia gets really boring and she should go soon..

I could tell throughout the show that Natalie was going to be the one to leave this episode - and I'm SO glad that she's gone! She's so arrogant and BORING! I think she thought that because she knew how to pose like a model, she could coast through... but a "poser" is exactly what she is!

I agree that I really like Fo, but I don't think she can win Top Model. She will probably get some commercial model jobs though - for GAP, make up companies, etc.

I also agree that Allison did a lot better this week - and was more likeable - it's like switch was turned on and she's finally starting to "get" that she actually has to make an effort. She also seems to be having more fun.

Finally, after this episode, I agree with you, Pat, that Teyona is probably going to win. I agree with Carolyn that she's over-rated, but from the judges comments (especially Tyra), I think they're really laying the groundwork for a Teyona win.

I think Aminat will be the next to go, or maybe Celia.

Yay! Natalie's gone! I'm surprised you didn't talk about her backtalk at panel. I can sympathize a little bit, because the show is full of mixed messages. But at the same time, Natalie was self-entitled and annoying. If you're such a great model by yourself, DON'T go on the reality TV show for model wannabes. It's that simple.

Also, I think Carolyn's mom should guest star in a vlog if possible.

I think even nathalie is eliminated she can be top model, she already have the package, the show is her way for publicity, We hate her but we must admit she have potential...

In the history of top model the judges say that are boring or doesn't have personality, arogant make it to high fashion industry, cycle 1 3 runner up ellis, mollie sue, katarzyna and so on ( sorry for wrong spellings if ever) luv u guys! I don't like aminats photo.

Love your recaps! You are actually quite insightful despite not being involved directly in the modeling industry so kudos there. Also please please make a video log with Carolyn! And her mom!
I agree with the previous comment, especially with regard to Katarzyna-most underrated ANTM model ever!

And also about Teyona I definitely getting a winner's edit รก la stupid Saleisha. Oi vey...
